Sprague Solutions offers a variety of fee structures, and we base our fees on variables such as the
complexity of the project, its geographical location, and the expertise of the designer assigned to your
project. Typically, we work in one of the following methods, and are also able to combine methods to suit
your particular needs:
Fixed Fee or Flat Fee
A specific sum to cover costs is identified, exclusive of reimbursement for expenses such as printing,
reproduction, and color boards. One total fee applies to the complete range of services, from conceptual
development through layouts, specifications, and final installation.
Hourly Fee
Compensation is based on actual time spent by a Sprague Solutions designer on your project or specific
service.
Cost Plus
Most often, our cost-plus method is combined with either a fixed fee or hourly fee. Cost plus pertains
to the purchase of materials, furnishing, and/or services (e.g., carpentry, furniture, picture framing)
by Sprague Solutions at cost plus a specified percentage.
Depending on the dollar amount of purchases made, Sprague Solutions may require a deposit before
placing orders. A deposit is typically 50% of the overall cost of goods purchased and is applied
to the balance due upon receipt of goods by the client.

More important than how we are compensated is how we control costs. At
Sprague Solutions, we optimize your budget by identifying and explaining the costs associated with your
project. Our solutions revolve around recommendations for quality products with timeless design. We
explain how some products may provide more value over time than others, and we'll always offer a range
of options.
