Sprague Solutions, an interior space planning, design and consulting firm located in Boise, Idaho,
offers interior design expertise resulting in unique interior design solutions. Our
solutions are based on consultation, not imposition. Our goal is to understand your space-planning
and design needs so we can effectively provide creative interior solutions.
The Founders
The founders of Sprague Solutions, Daniel and Tracy, are certified professional members
of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) who have attained the highest level of
interior design accreditation possible. With more than 20 years of combined experience,
they bring extensive experience, knowledge, and professionalism to interior design.
Their skills compliment one another, enabling the ultimate in creative and functional,
interior environments that enhance the quality of life.
Daniel Sprague, ASID
Consulting Principal
Daniel has more than 14 years of experience in interior space planning and design. He is well-versed
in detailed and comprehensive planning and programming, cost estimating, and design
development. His understanding of material and furniture products facilitates effective specifications
for interior finishes, furniture, landscaping, and interior construction materials. His experience doesn't stop
in the office. He is also effective at on-site construction observation.
Dan served as the President of American Society of Interior Designers in 1999 and was an Advisory Board Member
for the University of Idaho's Department of Art and Architecture. His professional knowledge and experience give
him the ability to effectively and efficiently arrive at imaginative solutions.
Tracy Sprague, ASID
Consulting Principal
With more than 10 years of experience, Tracy has been involved in a variety of design projects, both large
and small. Her experience in planning, cost estimating, design development, construction documents, and
administration give Tracy an advantage when faced with tough interior design problems. Her experience and
understanding of systems furniture, freestanding furniture, materials, and finishes enable her to give
the client several options within a specified budget.
Tracy is a highly accomplished long and triple jump athlete. Her accomplishments on the track have allowed her to
volunteer her time speaking to children about goals and being a positive role model at area schools.
In 2004 she received the Idaho Business Review's Accomplished Under 40 Award.
Design Team
Sprague Solutions has assembled an incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and creative group of design professionals,
each with a common goal of creating cost-effective, quality interior design solutions for our customers and clients.
Passion for interior design is reflected in the philosophy of the firm itself as well as in each individual as we
strive to be the leading interior design and consulting firm in the region.
Jennifer Burks
Interior Designer
Jennifer Burks believes that the interior, exterior, and site of every space need to act as one, and she views each
aspect of a project as a detail to great architecture. Each of these elements of design contributes to the creation
of a total experience for the user. Her work also reflects her belief in the value of coordination among all design
professions-resulting in a better result for all involved.
She excels at being able to portray these design details through three-dimensional renderings, a process that both
she and her clients appreciate and enjoy. She is able to help all involved better understand and envision the ideas
and concepts involved throughout the design process by modeling on the computer with rendering programs or by
hand-sketching spaces using different types of media.
Jennifer also has an appreciation for art. She enjoys studying pieces of historic art and their artists, viewing
contemporary art, and creating her own. As another way to express design, she likes using paints, colored pencils,
oil pastels, and markers to create a different type of detail. These interests complement each other as each
client's project offers a new palette with which to work and her artistic gifts give her the ability to add new ways
to express the artistic aspects of her design work.
Megumi
Interior Designer
Megumi moved from Japan in 1997 to Seattle, Washington, and she has been in the interior design industry since
her graduation with her Interior Design degree in 2000. She brings an extremely versatile background to Sprague
Solutions having successfully completed a diverse array of highly customized project work in the commercial and
high-end residential sectors encompassing commercial spaces, a restaurant remodel, individual residences, and
multifamily dwellings. Megumi's residential remodel work was featured in Seattle Home & Lifestyles magazine
in 2005.
Her strengths include space planning and material selections demonstrating a fine eye for detail, and she has
also created brand image for financial institutions and designed custom furniture for numerous clients. Her wide
range of design experiences enables her to provide each project with innovative, client-focused solutions. She
enjoys entertaining family and friends as well as creating arts and crafts.
