Regional Scale with a Local Focus

On March 1, 2022, HB completed a merger with iconic Boise Knoll dealer, Sprague Solutions. Founded by Daniel and Tracy Sprague, Sprague Solutions has served the greater Boise area as an authorized dealer of Knoll Furniture for more than 20 years.

The newly merged operation will offer the Idaho market regional scale with a local focus collectively representing Herman Miller, Knoll, and MillerKnoll’s portfolio of 19 affiliated brands.

The Boise merger was driven by Herman Miller’s acquisition of Knoll in July 2021 and the subsequent formation of MillerKnoll, Inc. Designed to bring a more diverse collection of commercial furniture choices to customers with distinction, the MillerKnoll family of brands now includes DatesWeiser, Design Within Reach, Geiger, HAY, Holly Hunt, KnollStudio, KnollTextiles, Maharam, Muuto and naughtone.

Aligned in HB’s core values and goals, Sprague Solutions offered expertise in Knoll products from over two decades of design and specification. Combining this with HB’s infrastructure, knowledge, and experience ensures customers continue to receive the high-value, service, and outcomes they expect while having access to the best solutions available from the MillerKnoll collection of brands.

Boise VP of Sales, Jeff Clarke will team up with Daniel and Tracy Sprague in managing the day-to-day operations of the newly merged company. Current HB and Sprague Solutions customers will continue working with their existing account managers, and new clients will be assigned to specialists best suited to their business needs.

In early 2023, HB will open a new showroom in Boise featuring a curated collection of the MillerKnoll portfolio. In the interim, the two existing showrooms will individually showcase Herman Miller and Knoll offerings.

The new HB showroom will be located at Boise’s newest, premier downtown address, the 11th& Idaho building. Planning and design are underway with an opening targeted for early 2023.

We’re excited to bring our customers a newly planned, best-in-class showroom where they can see the best of MillerKnoll brand offerings. The new showroom will showcase a variety of collections, and unite our team of savvy industry experts, exclusive services, and project management under one roof. It will be built over the next year and will prominently feature both Herman Miller and Knoll along with other select brands from the MillerKnoll portfolio.
